A new regulatory body for the veterinary sector has been established with the appointment of 14 professionals. These individuals, comprising both veterinary and non-veterinary experts, will form the Singapore Veterinary Council.

The council is slated to become fully operational by 2028, at which point it will take on its role as regulator for the sector.

Further information on the council's establishment and its future plans can be found through other sources, as details on its current activities and specific responsibilities are limited.
