A site spanning 200ha is being considered for development into an energy hub. This site is notably 40% the size of Sentosa. Plans for the site include housing hydrogen-ready natural gas-fired power plants and a liquefied natural gas terminal. Other low-carbon energy technologies are also envisioned for the location.

The Energy Market Authority will be studying the feasibility of this project. Details about the site's potential and the study's scope are available from the authority.

Further information on the proposed energy hub and the EMA's study can be found through official channels.
