A 19-year-old British taekwondo athlete has died after suffering a cardiac arrest. Isabelle Sava passed away unexpectedly in her sleep. Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate her but were unsuccessful. Sava was a dedicated taekwondo athlete, having spent over 10 years training in the sport. She had achieved her 1st and 2nd Degree Black Belts in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

Sava had also competed at the International Taekwondo Federation World Championships, winning a silver medal in sparring in 2022. She was also involved in umpiring taekwondo competitions and was a valued member of the taekwondo community.
