Education Minister Desmond Lee has announced plans to pilot new initiatives in schools. Smaller classes are among the ideas to be tested, with the goal of determining where they can have the greatest impact on teaching and learning.
The Ministry of Education will also explore streamlined teacher duties as part of the pilot. Six schools have been selected to participate in the pilot.
Further details on the pilot and its objectives are available from the Ministry of Education. The pilot aims to identify areas where smaller classes can make a significant difference.
